Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday service this year. Many of you have plans that day so we are cancelling service for December 25th. We will pick up service again the following Sunday.
And for people that would think, “Of all days to have a church service, we should certainly gather for Christmas! It’s a celebration of Jesus’ birth!” we would say, “God couldn’t care less about Christmas. God only cares about us observing one day… today. So as long as it’s called “today,” celebrate, not the birth of Jesus, but why he was born. Celebrate the work He did for you and me at the cross.”
Hebrews 3:15 (KJV)
To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts…
