It’s funny that when you have eternal life and know what that means — when you take it literally — it sort of messes up the milestone of having a birthday.
Not that we shouldn’t celebrate the birth of people, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. But for a believer, it becomes just another year in a gloriously infinite life. You might call it an “immortal problem.” Years start to lose meaning and you start to lose count when you’re living forever.
Shoot, if someone asks you, “What’s your age?” just tell them, “The next one.”
