Jesus, on the cross, is our example of everything He saved us from. Jesus, in His resurrection, is an example of everything the cross has provided to us.
What a simple principle, and despite the fact that almost every Christian would nod to this, we completely do not understand this. The way we describe the life a Christian looks a heck of a lot more like the suffering’s of the cross than it does Christs’ glory and resurrection. There’s a problem here.
