People try to say that life is not all sunshine and rainbows (even most believers say this). They try to say it’s not all a bed of roses. Well mine is. Yes, and I’m not in denial and I’m not living in some fantasy land. I’m just lifting my eyes a little higher than yours are, seeing every spiritual blessing I have, in Heaven, in me. Call it a bed of roses or call it what you like, but I’ve got it.
Psalms 23:2 (KJV) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures… [pasture = inheritance]
Believers, stop trying to praise God DESPITE your circumstance. If your circumstances are that bad, then God doesn’t deserve any praise or thanks.
But perhaps, God did something through Jesus that you’re not accounting for. Maybe that’s why you think your circumstances are so bad. And maybe all you need to do is realize how redeemed from the earth you are and you would realize your circumstances, as a believer, are actually quite good. And then you could start praising God BECAUSE of your circumstances, instead of DESPITE your circumstances. That would make more sense.
Any time you pass by a cemetery or a memorial site, there’s not a single name carved in stone that you can’t raise. Not a single one.
Most Christians say about the Bible “I’ve read the back of the book and there’s a good ending!” What blasphemy. They say it ignorantly, but what horrible blasphemy. Let me tell you, “I’ve read three quarters of the way through the book and there was already a good ending!” The end of all tribulation took place three quarters of the way through the book, on a hill, in the death of Jesus, not at the end. If you’re looking at the back of the book to find it, you’ve missed it. You’ve completely missed it.
John 19:30 (NKJV) So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished [the end]!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
I’ve got glory in me. I’ve got everlasting life in me. Shoot, I’ve got enough to sustain the whole universe, much less my body. If you ask me, no matter what my body seems like at the moment, I’m the picture of perfect health. How could anyone with eyes to see come to any other conclusion?
When it comes to moral and political matters, most people are activists and spokespersons for what they believe is right. Whether republican or democrat, most people you see are fighting for what they believe is moral.
Ephesians 1:20-21, 2:6 (NKJV) Christ… far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 2:6 …and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…
Jesus, on the cross, is our example of everything He saved us from. Jesus, in His resurrection, is an example of everything the cross has provided to us.
What a simple principle, and despite the fact that almost every Christian would nod to this, we completely do not understand this. The way we describe the life a Christian looks a heck of a lot more like the suffering’s of the cross than it does Christs’ glory and resurrection. There’s a problem here.
Positive thinking is not the same thing as Christ-centered thinking, but when you get Christ-centered in your thinking, you’re going to feel pretty positive.

As parents, so many believers want to go to a parenting conference or listen to a seminar to get some secret to raising their kids in a godly manner.
“When people watch documentaries about outer space and the universe, they say it makes them feel so small. Not me. A documentary on the bounds of the universe is just a documentary on my jurisdiction.”
Joshua 1:3 (NKJV) Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you…
In regards to the “cherishing memories” post a few days ago: If you’re getting to know Jesus, the Bible says you’re being transformed from glory to glory. That means from you are transformed from one state of glory to an increased state of glory, and so on, and so on. That means that nothing you’ve experienced in the past is better than the potential manifestations you can experience in your future.
If we’re still reminiscing about “the good old days, then we simply do not believe the term “from glory to glory.”
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) But we all… beholding… the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory…
Stop longing for the past. Jesus already died. His best is already in you. And you could say “the best is yet to manifest” as you learn Jesus.
Ephesians 4:17-18 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart…
