I’m sure you’ve read the passage where Jesus asks the Father if there is some way to let His suffering pass from Him. He then follows that up by saying, “Not as I will… Your will be done“ (Matthew 26:39, 42). You never have to pray a prayer like that.

If I were to ask you, “How do you obey God?“ You would probably say “Well, by doing whatever God says to do.“ And you would be correct. More specifically, if God gives a law and you perform that law, that is biblical obedience.
Hopefully you are the kind of person that just wants to know what scripture says, even if you’ve never heard it before, because I’m fairly certain you’ve never heard what we are about to tell you.

You Are Not A Hypocrite… (Article)
Ever been to church and heard the word “hypocrite“ used before? It’s a pretty common word we use in the church for people that don’t practice what they preach. If we see a preacher caught doing something wrong, lots of people would call him a hypocrite. And likewise, when a preacher sees sin prevalent in the church, he might look at that and call that hypocrisy.
