Proverbs 19:12 (KJV) The king’s wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.

Proverbs 20:2 (KJV) The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul.

Genesis 49:9-10 (KJV) Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
